Regular participation in a prenatal program will not only help to stay in shape while pregnant, but help prepare for the birthing process through learning to reduce labor-associated tension and anxiety. The key elements of prenatal yoga are breathing, yoga postures, stretching and releasing the spine. This class is appropriate for any stage of pregnancy and no prior yoga experience is required.
Prenatal class consists of:
- Postures suitable for pregnant body
- Practice of deep breathing, pelvic floor toning and abdominal toning
- Relaxation, Meditation and Visualization
