Yoga classes specifically designed for young children to build strength, flexibility, balance and focus while having fun exploring the vast array of yoga postures that are inspired by nature and animals. Story time and brief periods of meditation enable children to develop inner focus and spend a few quiet moments with themselves.
Yoga is a fun and effective way for children to develop important mental skills, coordination and confidence in a non-competitive, yet progressively challenging environment.
Kids Yoga consists of:
- Basic as well as challenging advanced poses
- Partner yoga poses
- Introduction to meditation focusing on breath
- Yoganidra or Shavasana
