CHAIR YOGA

This Yoga workout is easy to follow and is designed for men and women who are unable to sit on the floor or need to use a chair for stability. It can also be used for people who are less flexible. Chair Yoga teaches how to release tension, increase circulation and firm/tone muscles. Chair yoga is excellent for people with arthritis, injuries and disabilities, including Multiple Sclerosis (MS). It gives people of any age or physical condition a deep, gentle work-out and is enjoyable and healing.

Chair Yoga focuses on :

  • Stretches for all joints and muscle groups
  • All types of poses modified for chair
  • Different types of breathing as a central component of yoga
  • Meditation
  • Relaxation
